This week’s practice was completely electric! We’re departing from our acoustic sets and working on a completely electric one. Our intention from the beginning with our song writing, has been creating tunes that can be performed both ways.
It is a fun experience as a singer, to feel how differently my voice responds to the electric chords. Everything about it is different, it’s super charged & exhilarating! I love it! As nice as it is to sing sweetly along with Bob’s Ibanez. There’s nothing quite like a fired up Strat or Guild player. if you love gritty Blue & good ole Rock ‘n Roll, I’m not telling you anything new.
We are hoping you’ll come hear us electrify the Hot Rod Hootenanny scene on Saturday Oct 23 at 11am. Hopefully our new band stickers come in in time - make sure you ask us for one. I’m also ordering more TSR sweatshirts soon - so get your order in too!
This week I’m thankful for power in our homes, for cords that don’t tangle & for near misses (ask Bob about his front yard excitement.)
