The past few weeks have been fun fun fun in the hot Summer Sun!! We have been keeping up with weekly practice and continue to add new songs, like Mother Blue, to the set lists & are revisiting some of our older joints like Oscuridad & Thief in the Night, fine tuning their structure & getting them show ready.
This week we got to showcase our electric show for some close friends and family with the full band, true garage band style!!
Bob and I also played at Acoustic Asanas with Erin the Wandress - allowing for a way more stripped back set - bringing the songs back to their original beginnings on acoustic. Our goal has always been to be able to play our songs both acoustic and electric so we can offer whatever style & volume the crowd or venue calls for. Great to be at a place where we have such versatility and range with our music.
We are hoping you can join us in Manchester for the Silk Fest - Aug 28 - we play at 7pm - bands, beer and food start at 2 and go to 10 - looks like a fabulous festival, so grateful to be a part of it!
This week I am thankful for friendships that last lifetimes, for our Fans that keep encouraging us to play more & for fans that keep us cool.
