Thank you to everyone who took the time to listen to our latest release “Snake” and for all the positive feedback!

This week we played out Tuesday night at the Pub in South Windsor & by we, I mean more than just Bob & me. Dan joined us on drums and after just one session with us, Hugh graced us on bass - filling out our rhythm section beautifully. We debuted “Walking Bag Blues” and throughly enjoyed another fun night with lots of fantastic local talent. Thank you Jane, Austin & crew for not only putting on a fantastic show but also for all your efforts to promote & organize.

Tonight we jammed with an inspiring guitarist, who responded to our ad, first of three that we are fortunate enough to get to jam with and see what works. I’m in such awe of musicians who can first of all play any instrument. Secondly who can listen to other musicians and follow along, figure out what chords to play, what rhythm and beat is required and then add their own artistic flair. The ability to play “with feeling” is a gift that I cherish. I love hearing a musician take off on their musical journey and letting the notes soar or the beat drop. Somehow a part of me attaches to it, like a leaf in a strong wind, carried effortlessly upward. It’s like music alters gravity enough to “lift my Spirits” & allows me to be a part of the harmonics. As much as it raises my vibration, there’s something so grounding about it too. So connection establishing, so much a reminder of how interwoven, intertwined and interdependent our lives truly are.

This week I’m Thankful for every musician who honors their gifts and uses their talents, for every sound engineer who dials in & makes sure the levels are just right and for music being a universal language that unites us All.
