Time & Money well spent

This week we had the extreme pleasure of playing for the Hot Rod Hootenanny in Marlborough CT. It was a chilly fall day, perfect foliage colors adding to the festive vibe. Classic cars rolled in non stop for hours. I know Bob said last year there were 750 on exhibit and this year they projected 1000….curious to know how many really came out. Whatever the final number, the cars on display were beyond impressive.

The energy at the show was fantastic. So many passionate individuals with a flair for the exquisite, we were in great company! Thanks to Kevin, the sound engineer, we sounded pretty great too - such a gift!

Our electric set was well received. Bob tore it up on leads and Dan & Hugh rocked steady with our rhythm and bass. It’s a venue we’d love to return to, so hopefully it’s just the first time of many. There are a few video clips on Facebook that you can check out. Next year you should go!

This week I’m thankful for classic cars and the beautiful beings who dedicate time and money to restoring them and I’m thankful for local farms who celebrate with food, beer, music & goats.

What are you Thankful for?
